Use Think Marks

Think marks indicate students’ thoughts as they read, make excellent proof of engaged reading, and add provide text evidence for discussion! When students attend to their reading, they are on their way to becoming strong readers! You can learn more about teaching readers to listen to their thinking on Stephanie Harvey’s blog, here.
