Reading strategies are different from reading skills in that they focus on the internal action of the mind. Skills are focused more on right or wrong answers, such as identifying main idea.
Each reading strategy (mental action) is defined and explained. Further, its purpose is given so students learn WHY they should be using that strategy.
Strategies include: connect, question, infer, visualize, determine importance, summarize, synthesize, monitor.
Colored posters are designed with gray accents and the main title. Three gray designs let you copy on colored paper.
