Day 1 – Advanced letter combinations, fluency poetry, and executive functioning activities focused on flexibility and perspective
Day 2 – Prefixes, sentence scooping for fluency, and logic challenges such as word ladders and alphabet Sudoku
Day 3 – Syllable work, sentence shuffles, and writing activities that require students to explain what happened before a scenario
Day 4 – Word solving with bases and roots, sentence combining, and inference practice using real-world scenarios
Day 5 – Weird words, fluency editing with punctuation and expression, and engaging nonfiction fun facts about sharks
